Mama Elephant Book Worm - You're the Best!

Hello Friends! I hope you're having a wonderful day! I'm on the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog today with this fun card!

Have you ever had a stamp set that you knew you HAD to have, but every time you were ready to buy it, you were out of "crafty money". That's been this adorable stamp set from Mama Elephant for me. It's been on my wish list for so long! I love it so much that Butterfly Reflections Ink stocks all my favorite brands! One stop shopping is THE BEST!

Here's a list of the products I used. You can find them all in the Butterfly Reflections Ink Shop!
I started by stamping my images from the Book Worm stamp set using my Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images using my Copic Sketch markers and die cut them with the coordinating dies. Aren't these little critters reading the CUTEST??

Next, I die cut a banner using the Fancy Wavy Banners dies and stamped my sentiment with the Wavy Sayings stamp set

I wanted a very simple background to put my scene on, so I die cut a simple white background  and used my Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink to softly ink a simple line and mounted it onto some patterned paper. The dimensions for my card are 3 1/2" x 8 1/2". I love slimline cards because they fit perfectly in a standard sized envelope.

Finally, I mounted my stamped and die cut images to my background using 3D Foam Squares and Ranger Multi Medium Matte adhesive.

Are you a book worm? I love to read, but rarely get the chance to sit and read a real book, so I listen to tons of audiobooks. Fun fact about me, I listen to all the Harry Potter books over and over, then I throw in a new book every now and then to mix things up. I've definitely listened to/read each of the HP books at least 30 times each. I hope you enjoyed my book worm card and I hope you have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

I could have just texted...but I made you this card! - Butterfly Reflections Ink

Hi cute friends!!!

I'm on the Butterfly Reflctions, Ink blog today and I'm so happy for the chance to share a card using the newest release from Lawn Fawn, because I just love it so much, and you can’t start Valentine’s cards too early in my opinion.

Here are the super cute products used from the Butterfly Reflections, Ink store:

I started by stamping my images from You're Just My Type , Love Poems and LoveLetters using my Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the typewriter, desk, lamp, mouse and typed heart from Just My Type. Then I stamped the envelopes, phone, ink bottle and pen from Love Letters. Finally, I colored one paper with the mouse and one plain paper from Love Poems. I colored all the images using my CopicSketch markers and die cut them with the coordinating dies.

Next, I die cut nesting hearts with the Lacy Hearts Stackables and Outside In Heart Stackables. I only had white paper, so I inked the lacy heart with my Distress Oxide ink in Candied Apple Red.

I had originally planned to create a background to put my scene on, but at the last minute, I saw this cute paper that was so simple and cute and decided why not save myself the hassle, right? I used my Large StitchedRectangle dies to cut a 5 ½ x 4 ¼ background.

Finally, I mounted my stamped and die cut images to my background using 3D Foam Squares and Ranger Multi Medium Matte adhesive. I also added two images to the inside of my card, because it finished the sentiment on the front.

If you're a Lawn Fawn fan, or really, just a fan of super cute Valentine stamps sets, you need these in your life! Have an awesome day, and thanks so much for stopping by! Happy crafting!

My "One Layer" Book Worm Card :)

Here is my card for this week's "Always Fun Challenges". The challenge this week is "One Layer". I kind of cheated a tiny bit. I wanted a one layer background, but when it came to the sentiment, I decided I wanted a tiny bit of depth, so I added the banner and sentiment, and I had these extra critters from a previous card, so I added them as well. I just can't get enough of this Book Worm stamp set from Mama Elephant.
Have you ever tried making your own custom background using your stamps? It's one of my favorite methods because: 1- I love coloring, 2- I love that it can change every single time, 3- it's such a fun and different way to use your stamps!

I created my pieces of this card using the Trinity Stamps slimline dies and Lawn Fawn's Fancy Wavy Banner dies and sentiments

You Make Me Fly

I'm still having lots of fun playing with my Mama Elephant "Me and My Dragon" Stamp set. These dragons are so unbelievably cute! I could seriously color a million of them and never get bored! I wanted to use them along with my Altenew Caps Bold Alphabet Dies, and I thought it would be fun to use the dragon as a letter L. Unfortunately, about 1/3 of the people who see it, don't realize he's supposed to be an L - hahaha. I might try to add a little L to his hands, to help it along, but in the meantime, I still think it turned out super cute and I really like it.

Congratulations on Your Wedding!

Hi cute friends! I’m soooo excited for the chance to be blogging with Butterfly Reflections, Ink. I’m a huge fan of the talent they share and of course, the amazing products in the shop! I'm starting off with a card I made for a wedding, because I never have enough wedding cards at this stage of my life. This Bicycle set from Lawn Fawn is my favorite wedding set to use! It's just so fun and you can do so much with it!

Here are the super cute products used from the Butterfly Reflections, Ink store:

I started by stamping my images from Bicycle Built for You and Wavy Sayings using my Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the bicycle, boy, girl, flowers, cans, veil, tophat, tie and the small heart, which I stamped multiple times in a group. I colored the images using my Copic Sketch markers and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I fussy cut the hearts because I knew I wanted them to be in the basket on the front of the bike.

Next, I die cut nesting hearts with the Lacy Hearts Stackables and Outside In Heart Stackables. I used white paper, so I inked the inside heart with my Distress Oxide ink in Seedless Preserves. I also cut two Fancy Wavy Banners with the sentiment "Congratulations" on one of them and inked the other with Seedless Preserves.

I used my Large Stitched Rectangle dies to cut a 5 ½ x 4 ¼ background. I inked it using a cloudy border stencil and my Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink. I used some patterned paper to create a border behind my background and then added it all to my card base.

Finally, I mounted my stamped and die cut images to my background using 3D Foam Squares and Ranger Multi Medium Matte adhesive.

I'd love to see anything you make with these products! Happy cardmaking my friends!

You're Stinkin Cute

Hi! Howdy! Hello!

Today I'm sharing a card with you that works for three challenges. The #BRImoodboard challenge from Butterfly Reflections, Ink, the latest Lawnfawnatics challenge, which is "Something Old, Something New" and the AAA Birthday Challenge. I used lots of Lawn Fawn products for this card. The new stuff is the lacy heart, and the outstide in stitched heart dies (they're brand new to me) and the old is the "Stinkin Cute" skunk. If you decide to play along with the BRI Mood Board, my cute friend, Davina, is doing a link party and you could win $20 to Butterfly Reflections, Ink if you link your project to her blog!

I love shaker cards, but I'm always scared to make them. It seems like something always goes wrong and I never feel like my "shaker items' are what they should be. But, I decided that I'll never get better at making them if I don't try, so I'm going to try to do 2 shaker cards a month for practice.

Sweet Snowman

Hi friends! Here's a fairly simple little card I made using this super cute Winter Woods Overlay Die. I love when I can have everything I need for a card right in one set. The only additions I made to this were the sentiment and banner, which are both from Lawn Fawn. Plus, the sentiment was the only stamping I did for this card.
The background for this card is from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day Remix Petite Paper pack. I love this paper pack so much because it has so many fun and different sets that work for different types of backgrounds. This one is so fun because it creates a little scene for you!
After I die cut the snowman and tree background, I used my copic markers to do some simple coloring on my die cut pieces. Isn't that snowman the cutest??
